Mrs. Aalbers class is working on Animal Reports. They researched their animals and then used Google Slides to create a presentation. Some third grade friends from Mrs. Speake’s class helped out!! TEAM WORK!

It’s clay week at Southside! The students are so excited to paint our clay!

All high school golf, track, and tennis competitions scheduled for today, April 13th, have been postponed due to weather. Coaches will contact athletes with practice information.

GIRLS TRACK 4/13 POSTPONED-Due to forecasted cold temperatures and gusting winds the girls track meet in Clarion on 4/13 has been postponed.

Monday's events are as follows: Girl's tennis at Webster City with matches starting at 4:30PM - located at the High School Boy's tennis will host Webster City with a start time of 4:30PM - located at Progress Park GO BULLDOGS!

3rd Graders in Mrs. Speake's class are learning to develop personal goals with Miss Gerke during their Morning Meeting...starting with staying healthy!

3rd grade learned about the structures of life. In this lesson they got to dissect owl pellets in order to study different digestive systems. EWWWW or COOOL you decide!!

Boy's Track will travel to Clarion-Goldfield-Dows tonight for a Varsity Meet. Start time is 5:00PM for field events. Spectators asked to wear your mask and social distance. GO BULLDOGS!

**Update on Senior Breakfast** Mission Possible will be paying for one adult ticket that will be attending the breakfast with the student. The 2nd adult cost will be $7.00. See Mr. Carr or Katelyn Proctor if you have any questions in regard to this.

Due to weather and court conditions both boys and girls tennis is postponed with a reschedule date of Monday, April 12.

Boys Tennis host Webster City this afternoon with a match start up time of 4:30 at Progress Park. Girls Tennis will travel to Webster City and start matches at 4:30PM. GO BULLDOGS!

Senior breakfast tickets will be available for purchase beginning Friday April 9th in the cafeteria during lunch for student purchase. The tickets are $7.00 for those attending with the student, students are free of charge. Parents and/or guardians are welcome to attend this event that will be held in the gymnasium on May 1st at 9:00AM. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event. Last day to purchase these tickets will be April 21st.

***ISASP Testing Information*** During the week of April 19-23rd, 2021 students across the district in grades 3 through 11 will begin taking the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP - formerly the Iowa Assessments or ITBS/ITEDS). (Note: High school students will take one test on Friday, April 16th.) Today our Varsity/JV Girl's Soccer will head to Iowa Falls Alden for a games beginning at 5:30PM. JV will begin with Varsity following. GO BULLDOGS!! Outdoor events are open for anyone to attend. Masks are recommended and social distancing will be expected. There will be no live stream for this game.

Today our Boy's Tennis will host Grundy Center at Progress Park with the matches starting at 4:30PM. GO BULLDOGS! Due to this an outdoor event, it is open to all for spectator attendance. Masks are recommended and social distancing is expected.
